CHN Goes Online

Article

CHN has always been principally a ‘networking-in-person’ type of organisation, convening groups of senior leaders in healthcare, with insightful content and a strong programme that can’t be found elsewhere.

To continue bringing colleagues together during this very difficult time for the health sector we have planned two virtual events for members, both addressing the post COVID environment.

On the 6th May, we’ll be discussing how AI could help the NHS restart routine services and if so, how do the decision makers select the right solution. This webinar is supported and hosted by Kheiron Medical Technologies, an applied science company focused on detecting cancer earlier and more accurately.

Our panel includes Indra Joshi, Director of AI, NHSX, Andrew Fearn, Director of Digital Services & SIRO at Nottingham University Hospitals and Peter Kecskemethy, CEO & Co-Founder of Kheiron.

On the 3rd June, we will be considering what we have learnt from COVID-19 so far, in terms of digital health and health data, and asking if the world ever be the same again? Supported and hosted by international law firm McDermott Will and Emery (MWE) the session will explore the value of data, privacy ethics and achieving the right outcome for patients and the public.

Our panel includes Beverley Bryant, Chief Digital Information Officer at Guy’s and St Thomas’, Michael Macdonnell from Google Health and Stephen Bernstein and Sharon Lamb of MWE.

These events are exclusively for our members and invited guests but you can find out more and express interest in these webinars by emailing info@cambridgehealthnetwork.com.

We sadly had to postpone our Workforce-themed event last month with Prerana Issar, Chief People Officer, NHS Improvement and Sir David Behan, former Chair of CQC. We are also postponing an event on Digital Leadership with Dr Ian Abbs, CEO of Guy’s and St Thomas Hospital Foundation Trust. Both events will be rescheduled in late 2020.
