Entrepreneurs Day with NHS England

The NHS is opening up to health technology entrepreneurs

 

On the 5th of July, NHS England’s Tim Kelsey and Beverley Bryant held a morning event for health technology start-ups and SMEs.

·      NHS England outlined how it is supporting entrepreneurs and how those interested can get involved.

·      There was a briefing on the new Academic Health Science Networks, and whether there will be funding for health tech innovations.

·      A virtual goody bag session was presented, which presented free and discounted offers for attendees, plus pitches from brilliant and active networks driving and nurturing innovation in health technology.

The event also included an opportunity to network and meet the NHS England team, other health tech entrepreneurs, and organisations looking to work with innovative health tech SMEs and start ups.
