Patricia Hewitt shares ICS insights at Google HQ

On 12th September we were delighted to welcome Patricia Hewitt, Chair of Norfolk and Waveney Integrated Care Board (ICB) and author of “The Hewitt Review: an independent review of integrated care systems” published earlier this year.

Patricia shared high level messages from the report setting out the need for a greater focus on prevention, for a clearer governance/accountability structure, for performance management based on robust data systems and for payment reform to encourage a focus on healthcare value, incentivising both allocative and technical productivity.

She was joined on the stage by our own Penny Dash who supported Patricia in her review, co-chairing one of the working groups, and is Chair of NW London ICB to share perspectives on where and how the review can be taken forward.
